One of Bill Croney's ancestors is Major Anderson who owned Anderson Place covering what is now most of Newcastle City Centre with the manor house at Lloyds Bank on Grey Street the only remains of a substantial estate demolished to make way for the John Dobson and Richard Grainger legacy of Grainger Town ironically the location of Kaffeccinos. Major Anderson as a substantial donor to St Nicholas Cathedral has the largest bell in the bell tower named "The Major"
Kaffeccinos works closely with City Sightseeing Tours which provides a variety of tours covering the history, culture and development of the city
Welcoming passengers from DFDS arriving at Newcastle Central Station Bill provides a wealth of local knowledge to the best way to organise their sightseeing in relation to the weather. From pointing tourists to their hotels, cashpoint ATM's, bureau de change, tourist information centres and of course the local tourist hot spots.
