The region is enjoying a tourism boom time with visitors arriving from all over the world, a testament of the excellent award winning "Passionate People Passionate Places" campaign championed by the dedicated team at One North East.
Kaffeccinos and Newcastle recently played host to a group of thirty two Spanish students and their teachers (Wendy, Begonia, Carmen and Christine) from Colegio Publico, Ocejon, Guadalajara, Spain from Friday 25th April 2008 for a week.
The group thoroughly enjoyed their visit and stayed next door at the Albatross - Backpackers In! (www.albatrossnewcastle.com) the No1 Hostel in England 2007" as voted by Hostelworld customers, whilst Kaffeccinos played host by providing Breakfast, Packed Lunch and Evening Meals (exclusive use as a private hire) as well as providing local knowledge of the history and culture of the region.
The students were looking forward to the Manchester United v Barcelona game tonight and were all supporting Manchester United (who won)
